Toussaint Hunt
Director of Creative Music Strategy, Paramount
Toussaint Hunt currently serves as Director of Creative Music Strategy at Paramount, managing clearances and licensing for several brands including BET, MTV, P+, VH-1 and Smithsonian Channel. Toussaint works hand in hand with Paramount production groups to interface with record labels, music publishers, composers and music supervisors implementing music strategy for programming across scripted, unscripted and tentpole specials. Most recently, Toussaint supported the launch of MTV’s Family Legacy series and the well-received “As We Speak: Rap On Trial” documentary, which premiered on Paramount Plus. Prior to joining Paramount, Toussaint designed theatre sound for the world premiere opening of Ricardo Khan and Trey Ellis' "Kansas City Swing" and the world premiere opening of Walter Mosley's "Lift" off-Broadway. He earned his BA in Communications from the University of Southern California and his MFA in Sound Design from the University of Missouri-Kansas City.
