Ed Pak has over 10 years of experience in the music industry. He was hired as the first in-house lawyer at Saavn, which in 2018 he helped sell to Reliance Jio at over a $1.5 billion valuation – becoming JioSaavn, today’s largest DSP in India. Ed later joined Hook to lead business development and partnerships, where his experience as a music lawyer has been instrumental in his ability to help create more revenue earning opportunities for artists and songwriters in a time where how people consume and engage with music is shifting with the advent of increasing musical self-expression, UGC and emerging technologies.
