Danielle Johnson is counsel in the Office of Policy and International Affairs at the U.S. Copyright Office. Prior to joining the Office in 2023, Danielle was a member of the global media and intellectual property policy team at Meta Platforms, Inc. Before Meta, she served as intellectual property counsel for the House Judiciary Committee, where her portfolio primarily covered copyright and trademark law.

Danielle began her legal career as an associate in the Washington, DC office of Covington & Burling LLP, and has also worked as an attorney-advisor at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and as an associate at the IP boutique Kelly IP, LLP. Danielle earned her J.D. from Harvard Law School and her B.A. from the University of Southern California.
