Andreas is Co-Founder and CEO of Audiotool Inc, a platform for musicians to create and collaborate. Andreas is a serial entrepreneur, passionate about building teams and great software. Next to Audiotool, Andreas owns a recording studio in Cologne with some friends and is addicted to making music together in one location. Audiotool.com tries to translate real life music collaboration use cases into digital and decentralized workflows to enable everybody to enjoy the fun of making music together and to build long lasting relationships with like-minded people.
Andreas co-founded and managed several technology and media companies in Germany and the US, most recently as Co-Founder and CEO of Make.TV Inc., a SaaS provider for cloud based live video technology in Seattle. Make.TV was acquired by LTN Global, where he served two years as GM. Prior to founding Make.TV in 2016, he co- founded and managed the digital agency dimensional GmbH, which was acquired by Qvest Media.
Andreas holds patents in the field of cloud-based video production and consumption and is the recipient of a number of industry awards, including NewBay awards from TVB Europe and TV Technology, Digital TV Europe, Broadcast Tech Innovation, NAB Show Award, IPTV, Webby, RedDot, Grimme Institut and Eco. As Co-Founder of dimensional ventures, Andreas is invested and engaged in early-stage venture capital funds: Voyager Capital (Seattle), Unlock Ventures (Seattle/Los Angeles) and Neotek Ventures (Cologne).
