Chief Legal Officer, Native Instruments

Linda Cole is the Chief Legal Officer of the Native Instruments Group companies, producers of intelligent audio software and hardware for music production, including the Native Instruments, iZotope and Brainworx brands. In this role, Linda provides daily guidance on global corporate, compliance, commercial, employment and intellectual property matters, including the impact of generative AI on copyright law, its use in product creation, and the legal implications for the business. Prior to her role at Native Instruments, Linda has enjoyed a dynamic career as an entrepreneur (co-founder of a venture-backed technology company) and attorney (general counsel) to emerging technology companies in the telecommunications, internet and mobile industries. Linda has also served as a Clinical Instructor at the Transactional Law Clinics of Harvard Law School, where she supervised second- and third-year law students participating in both the Entrepreneurship and Recording Artists Projects, during which tenure she first participated in Mondo in 2019.
