Harvard Law Entrepreneurship Project
Linda Cole directs the Harvard Law Entrepreneurship Project, a student practice organization that provides legal research and analysis to start-up companies from Harvard and MIT, for which she draws upon her dual experience as a founder of and attorney to venture-backed technology companies. An ardent entrepreneur, Linda co-founded RTE Group, Inc., a telecommunications consulting firm where she served as general counsel, and, later, CO Space, Inc., an early provider of data center services (and subject of a pre-IPO public company acquisition in 2000), for which she directed regulatory compliance. Subsequently, Linda was an initial team member and general counsel to Mobiquity, Inc., a global mobile services provider, and, most recently, general counsel to iZotope, Inc., Emmy award-winning creator of intelligent audio technology. Within the Transactional Law Clinics, Linda also supervises law and music students engaged in Recording Artists Project case work on behalf of music industry clients. Across law and business, Linda’s experience includes business formation, financing and development, corporate governance, employment and intellectual property law, commercial transactions, tax matters, regulatory compliance, and mergers and acquisitions. Linda received her J.D. from Harvard Law School, where she was a technical editor of the Harvard Civil Rights-Civil Liberties Law Review, and her B.A. from Wellesley College.
