Southern California has long been known for its beach culture and Zen lifestyle, and We the Commas are bringing a fresh new perspective to its hometown mantra. The emerging San Diego-based band is comprised of three brothers: Lenny Jr., Jordy and Cam. Inspired by a variety of artists from John Mayer, Bob Marley and The Beach Boys to Justin Bieber, Daniel Cesar and Stevie Wonder. We the Commas describe their music as "Surf Alternative R&B." It's a blend of chill acoustics that are as soothing as the waves they love to surf, as well as soulful vocals that reflect various emotions. They are packed with songs that take you on a journey from falling in love to finding life's purpose. Since their Debut "Sherry" (from the S.A.R.B. EP) in July of 2020 they have already garnered more than 6 million views on YouTube and approaching 2 million streams on Spotify. They have been featured in over 50 articles including "Teen Beat," "The Source" as well as "Spindle," "Earmilk" and "BuzzBandsLA." Celebrities are talking about them too. Even The Rock has posted them on his Instagram page three times in a four-month span. We the Commas released its second EP "Old School Love" featuring the single "Better Days" in April 2022 to amazing reviews! We the Commas is preparing to release its new single, an homage to its hometown titled "San Diego."
