Rajinee is a songwriter, musical artist and filmmaker based in Austin, TX. Under the Ilocano moniker, ‘sayang’, she produces genre nonconforming music and lyrics that embody their queerness, sensitivity, themes of longing & belonging, self-reflection & ultimately, self-discovery. Their records have received placements on rotation at KUTX 98.9 and were shortlisted as Austin’s best songs and videos of the year. She was selected this year as an official artist for the Keychange U.S. Talent Development program, which champions gender equity in the music industry.
