Pat Burgener is a professional snowboarder and musician from Switzerland.
Gifted with an extraordinary talent on snow since his childhood, he joined the Swiss national team at the age of 14. His ambition had opened the doors to the top flight and catapulted him into the top three on many occasions.
However, fate spares no man, and like many top-level athletes Pat got injured. After a snowboarding injury in 2014, Pat used the time off the snow to work on his second passion, music. He teamed up with his brother Max and a childhood friend to create his own band.
Meeting a great success with his first singles, Pat played at world-class venues like the Montreux Jazz Festival, Sion Sous les Etoiles and the Gürten Festival.
His comeback on snow has been full of high notes including two podiums at the World Championships in 2017 and 2019 and an amazing fifth place at the 2018 Winter Olympics in PyeongChang. "Music has been helping me to find my inner balance, which is the key when it comes to become a better version of yourself in any fields," Pat says.
In 2021, Pat will be back with a fourth EP called Tropical Mood/Island/Paradise, in reference to the sunny and bright vibe spread by his new songs. Pat explains: "I really wanted to write some music that would bring smiles to people’s faces and make them wanna dance. It became crucial during those uncertain times to stay positive and happy, and I know that music could play a big part in it."
The EP has been produced between the UK and Los Angeles with three world-class producers, each of them bringing their unique touch to Pat’s compositions in order to fill yout day with sunshine and good vibes.
On the snowboarding side, Pat stays focused on his dream to hopefully climb on the podium of the 2022 Winter Olympics in China.
